The moon tonight - low in the sky just after it had risen. The blood orange colour is due to its position in the lower atmosphere which gives the orange hue and also a blurriness. As it rises the moon goes paler and also sharper to the eye. 98% waning #Aberdeenshire #Scotland #Lunar

A couple more from Friday. This is the shelter, known as Sandy’s Seat, which is used to home the stalkers ponies during the deer stalking season. Located at 700m it sits below the summit of Broad Cairn, 998m, which can be seen in the distance #Cairngorms #Scotland
